Mental Cage

Mental Cage (ห้วงลวงจิต), Horror Escape Series #3, is a first-person Thai horror escape game for Android published by ARK Studio. Players are trapped in a sorcerer's illusion (an endless corridor, a dance room, a black-mirror bathroom, a nursery and a lift), wake in his house, solve puzzles, may reclaim their voice, shadow and name and rescue another captive, and reach one of four endings. The game is built with HTML5, runs inside an Android WebView, and is distributed on Google Play.

• Game save (on-device): your current room, items, solved puzzles, journal notes, story flags, and how many hints you have viewed per puzzle. No personal identifiers attached.
• Ending gallery (on-device): which of the four endings you have unlocked.
• Settings (on-device): language (Thai or English), music, ambience, effects and scare volume, mute, captions, and reduced flashing, motion and scares.
• Advertising & device data: advertising ID and basic device/app info, collected automatically by Google AdMob to serve, and where consented, personalize and measure ads.

The game saves automatically to local storage on your device after every action (inspecting, picking up an item, solving a puzzle, moving to another room) and whenever the app goes to the background. When you finish an ending, that run's save is deleted so the next run starts fresh; the ending gallery is kept. Google AdMob's SDK collects advertising data directly and automatically whenever the app loads or shows a rewarded ad; we never see or handle that data ourselves.

• To keep your game progress between sessions, so you can continue right where you left off.
• To remember which endings you've unlocked.
• To show the game in the language you picked.
• To offer one optional rewarded ad that reveals the third (final) hint for a puzzle (§06), and only act on it if you choose to watch.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. The only third party involved is Google — via AdMob, Google Play services, and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for ad consent (§06) — governed by Google's privacy policy. The game also contains an optional in-game leaflet that opens an "Apps by ARK Studio" panel with links to our app on Google Play and to our website; following a link opens it outside the game and shares nothing from the game. We may disclose information only if required by law.

Mental Cage offers one optional rewarded video ad served by Google AdMob. It plays only when you deliberately ask for a hint and then tap "Watch ad". It is never forced or shown automatically, never interrupts a scare, a puzzle or an ending, and every offer has a "Not now" option. The only reward is the third (final) hint for a puzzle; hints one and two are always free, and every answer can also be found in the game's clues. No ending, item or story content is sold through ads. The hint is given only when the ad is watched to the end. For users in the EEA and UK, a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form is presented before any personalized ads are shown. Users can manage ad personalization at any time via their device's Google Settings → Ads.

The app requests only one permission: INTERNET — needed so the game can load and show ads. The game itself is bundled inside the app and plays without a connection. It never requests camera, microphone, location, contacts, or file-storage permissions.

Game data is stored only in local storage on your device and is never transmitted to us. Since no server exists, there is no server-side breach risk. Data is permanently deleted the moment you clear the app's storage or uninstall it.

• Delete your data: Android Settings → Apps → Mental Cage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Starting a New Game from the title screen also replaces your save.
• Withdraw ad consent: device Settings → Google → Ads.
• Ask us anything: contact the developer directly (§12) — since we hold no copy of your data anywhere, access/correction/deletion requests are fulfilled by the steps above.

Mental Cage is a horror game with frightening themes and jump scares (no gore) and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad requests identified as coming from users under the applicable age of consent are treated as non-personalized, in line with Google's child-directed advertising requirements.
